I fell in love with the power of words at a young age. The ability to craft a meaningful vision from thin air astonished me and I’ve always found a way to integrate writing into every profession I’ve had to date (even as an accountant!).
Throughout my career, I’ve written training material, case statements, speeches (including one for Quincy Jones), fiction stories, blogs, greeting cards, marketing collateral, campaign literature, fundraising correspondence, and so much more. For nearly ten years, my nonprofit writing skills were groomed in the corporate office of a major nonprofit organization, crafting everything from event scripts and donor letters to grant proposals and web content.
I finally reached a place where I gave in to the force and began writing full-time – spec
ifically for charitable causes.
I’m passionate about the power of using words to motivate others to care, to embrace, and to act. And not just wordy-words for the sake of seeing thoughts on paper... clear, concise, audience-centered words that deliver messages and engage readers.
Quite naturally, most of my clients are nonprofit organizations (large, small, and in-between). But, I’m also called upon by graphic designers, marketing firms, consulting groups, and even other writers to provide copy for their projects.
